very so often, you find a family that you could most happily climb in their van and head home to dinner because you feel so at home with them. These guys were just that way. I loved meeting them and had so much fun spending my evening hanging out at the farm with my new best buddies.

Weddings.....sigh..... so fabulous. And this one was a blast. All those groomsmen and bridesmaids. They were so funny and fun to be around. The bride and groom.....perfection. I was so glad to be a part of their special day.

These guys were so cute. They loved their mom so much, and you could tell they were good buddies too. They reminded me a bit of my cute boys, so it made it extra fun to shoot them.

We went all the way up the mountains....and then some to get these shots and I think they turned out awesome. It was so fun to be out in the snow with such a fun family. One of the best things about living in Utah is having a million different places to explore that are all less then an hour away.

She has the most amazing personality! It was an absolute pleasure working with her, and she makes a beautiful bride. We shot these at the JSMB, but were not aware that they were hosting a HUGE (and I do mean huge) bridal expo that day. Kind of ironic, don't you think?? K was a real trooper, being as though we had to get super creative since all of our usual "spots" were taken- filled instead with vendor booths and fashion show runways. It was a great experience learning to "think outside the box" when it came to locations that would work for us, and I can't think of a better bride to work with in this type of situation. I think the end result was worth it :)

You know that old saying "the cobblers children have no shoes?" That is very much the case at our house. I thought it was time for my own kids to suffer the delight of family pics, so I dressed them up, loaded them up, and headed out to take some fabulous pictures to hang on my wall. Quickly I learned that my own children are not near as obedient as other children when it comes to photo shoots. They would plaster the "lets just tolerate mom and get this over with" smile on their faces and stand still for about 3 seconds while I desperately tried to get a good shot. So while I am happy with the end results, just know that I had to work hard for these pictures!
